I can’t stand the sound of Mel Keiper’s voice, I think that’s what it is. On a quick run to Target for some outlet covers I tuned into ESPN Radio to catch the end of the Michigan vs. Utah game, and Keiper starts to speak. All I hear is blah blah blah, hair, blah blah.

The day is only partly over but we’ve seen a few significant upsets;
#25 Pitt getting spanked by unranked Bowling Green
Eastern Carolina knocking off #17 Virginia Tech
and of course Utah “upsetting” Michigan

• Ohio State looked sub-par in my opinion. They settled for field goals when the score at the half should have been 42-0. Todd Boeckman threw a few passes that against a Big Ten team would have been interceptions. Beanie Wells foot and ankle will be the bane of his existence. 
• The defense was stout, but as well, they should have been. 
• Terrelle Pryor looked good in his first game. Once he gets the jitters out he can do good things.
